KATE Middleton is the the “glue” holding the troubled House of Windsor together, it is claimed.
The Duchess of Cambridge has remained a calming presence and provided some much-needed stability in her 10 years in the family, despite ongoing feuds and the death of Prince Philip, insiders say.
A source told The Mirror: “Behind the scenes, she is the glue holding a lot of it together.
“She’s not one for drama, but more so the listener who will come up with a plan of action. Perhaps she will be the uniting force for the brothers to heal their divide.
“She wouldn’t want things to carry on the way they are, despite the things that have been said.”
Kate acted as a peacemaker between Harry and William as they shared a private chat while walking away from their grandfather’s emotional funeral.
The tender reunion between the brothers was the first time they have seen each other face-to-face in more than a year after Harry quit the UK.
It comes as Kate’s uncle, Gary Goldsmith, branded Harry and Meghan “muppets”.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, Goldsmith said his niece had the “Diana touch” and applauded her work.
