So what is the famous family up to today?

Meghan Markle spotted for first time since Megxit boarding seaplane in Canada

She’s been keeping a low profile since her shock exit from the Royal Family was announced last week – but Meghan Markle has now been pictured boarding a seaplane to Vancouver.

The Duchess of Sussex flew back to North America last week after returning to the UK for just three days – leaving Prince Harry locked in crisis talks while she was reunited with her eight-month-old son Archie who was reportedly being looked after by Meghan’s close friend Jesscia Mulroney.

She had previously been reportedly spotted driving around Vancouver Island after missing a conference call to crisis royal talks.

Prince Harry is expected to fly out to Canada later this week after he attends a royal engagement at Buckingham Palace on Thursday.

An expert claims Meghan and Harry not giving Archie a title was the first sign of their ‘masterplan’[/caption]

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry could have been hinting they wanted to step back from royal duties when they didn’t let son Archie have a royal title, a royal expert has claimed.

Joe Little, the managing editor of Majesty magazine, said the couple rejecting a title for their child hinted at their “wider masterplan”.

When their son Archie was born on May 6 last year, he was christened Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

It was thought that he would be given the title of the Earl of Dumbarton, as he is the first-born son of a duke.

However, Meghan and Prince Harry said that their son would be known simply as Master Archie, and it was taken at the time as a sign that the couple wanted him to be a “private citizen” – but the expert claims it was a sign of what was to come.

The statement referred to Harry and Meghan only by their first names and repeatedly mentions ‘family’

The monarch has taken an unusual step away from tradition to release one of her most personal statements to date following her grandson’s bombshell news. And, according to psychologist Jo Hemmings, her words reveal the “genuine sadness” and hurt she’s feeling.

Jo says the “poignant message” reveals much of the Queen’s regret at her grandson’s decision, but there are also hidden clues that baby Archie was central in his parents’ minds when making such a drastic choice.

Meanwhile, royal commentator Victoria Arbiter agreed the Queen referring to Harry and Meghan by their first names could be a sign the couple will lose their royal titles.

The Duke of Cambridge, 37, can be seen smiling at TV interpreter Alex Duguid as he communicated “congratulations, Alex”, with Alex replying in delight, “Thank you.”

The thoughtful gesture no doubt meant a lot to Alex who has spent three decades helping broadcasters communicate with deaf audiences, and it also went down well with fans.

The Kensington Palace Instagram also paid tribute to Alex, writing: “He is an example of how profoundly deaf people can have an impact on their community, their peers and their country.

“He is passionate about BSL and the need to promote and protect it.”

Alex was honoured for his services to deaf people and to British Sign Language education, and soap fans will know him as the face of Emmerdale and Coronation Street.
