Ryanair flight from Gdansk in Poland to Dublin declares an emergency

A Ryanair flight from Gdansk in Poland to Dublin has declared an emergency over the North Sea and is heading for landing in Newcastle instead.

Online trackers show the flight FR1909, which left Poland at 11.10am for a scheduled 12.50 landing in Dublin moving towards the airport in north-east England.  

MailOnline has contacted Ryanair for comment.
