In particular, note 9 has the same intestines as the Galaxy S9 Note 9 will also be the first device sent with an updated Bixby 2.0 announced by the company in October 2017. The update gives Bixby some new skills, such as the ability to search for nearby events, make restaurant reservations and order Uber tours. The device will also support Google Assistant if you find that the update is still not in line with its digital assistant competitors.
In particular, note 9 has the same size as the Galaxy S9: it has dual 12 megapixel rear cameras and a Snapdragon 845 processor. Starting from $ 999 for a 128GB and 6GB of RAM configuration, pricing is comparable to the iPhone X. Samsung will release Note 9 on August 24, with pre-orders starting August 10th.
The anticipated Fortnite on Android is also launched today and will be exclusive for new Galaxy devices for “a few days.” This means that when Note 9 actually comes to users, the exclusivity will be over.
Samsung’s smart speaker is right and it looks like a kettle? An incense holder? Whatever the case, it will contain Bixby – of course – and it has eight remote-field microphones, six built-in speakers and a subwoofer. You activate it with the phrase “Hello Bixby” and ask for a mission that you would normally ask your digital assistant on a phone to do.
In addition to displaying its surround sound capacity, Samsung did not enter additional details about price and availability. It says that more information will be available in November. Pricing will be an important aspect to keep track of, as the Galaxy Home, which is inventively called, will enter a rather crowded smart speaker source dominated by those who include Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and in some cases both. Apple’s HomePod is, of course, still in the mix, even though it is much less popular Amazon’s Echo series.
In addition to the recently announced Galaxy Home, Samsung said that it has partnered with Spotify so that you can link your account to Bixby and make the default service as a music player when you ask the assistant to play a song. You can also use this on Samsung products that are not smartphones, such as smart tv. Even if the user does not have a Spotify account, they can stream music from the service.
The partnership differs from Samsung’s announcement that it would use Google Play Music as its default music service when it launched the Galaxy S8 in 2017.
