THE SHACKLED woman filmed frantically ringing doorbells at 3am has been found safe – but her boyfriend shot himself dead, cops say.
Chilling CCTV showed a woman dressed only in a t-shirt press door buzzers 30 times in a residential Texas neighbourhood.
Cops say she has been located after a desperate appeal to find her.
But Sheriff’s Officer Scott Spencer said her unidentified partner has been found dead from a self-inflicted gun shot wound to the head.
He said the woman on CCTV was 32-years-old and her boyfriend was her 49-year-old live-in girlfriend.
Spencer said: “She is originally from the Dallas area. The two were in a boyfriend/girlfriend situation.”
The woman is due to be interviewed by police in the coming days.
Police were called to a house in Sunrise Pines Drive at 11 am on Wednesday, to reports of a man threatening to kill himself.
He was already dead when they arrived.
Cops found a suicide note near his body.
An investigation launched after neighbours reported the doorbell sounding in the middle of the night, with the half-dressed frantic woman filmed running between houses in the dead of night.
One neighbour said: “We were dead asleep in our beds. My husband was woken up by doorbell ring. It rang probably 20 to 30 times.”
“He walked outside no one was in sight. It’s like she disappeared in thin air.

Rachael Denison told the Daily Mail: “The similarities are too much to miss. Please. I want my sister home so badly.”
