On I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2016, the former cricketer expressed his desire to retrieve his $60,000 engagement ring from ex Elizabeth Hurley.
But almost three years on, Shane Warne is yet to be reunited with the pricey piece of jewellery he proposed to the English actress and model with in 2011.
When asked if the sapphire sparkler had been returned to him, he told Brisbane’s Stav, Abby and Matt on Thursday: ‘I haven’t asked for it back, but I will one day.’

The two-year engagement with ex-fiancée Liz appeared to end on amicable terms, with the retired Australian sportsman claiming they still talk often.
Radio co-host Abby Coleman curiously asked Shane if he had spoken to his former flame regarding giving back the expensive token of his love, as he was quite vocal about his desire to do so on the Channel Ten reality show in 2016.
‘No, I haven’t actually. I haven’t asked for it back, but we still chat all the time,’ he said, adding: ‘I will one day, don’t worry.’

‘It might be gone,’ Shane considered after Abby joked that Liz may have pawned the impressive ring since their split in 2013.
‘I don’t think Liz is going down to Cashies (Cash Converters),’ co-host Matt exclaimed after hearing the seemingly-absurd suggestion.
Shane discussed the protocol of returning such rings with his fellow campers on I’m A Celebrity.. Get Me Out Of Here! in 2016, stating his mission emphatically was to retrieve it.
‘She didn’t give it back. You’ve got me thinking, I might ask for it back. I am going to ask for that ring back,’ the retired cricketer said bluntly.
The sparkler, which Shane described as a ‘top notch blue sapphire one’ with diamonds is worth a reported $60,000.

‘If it was a good break-up, I think she should give it back,’ DJ Havana Brown said, adding: ‘If you messed up, then she could keep it just to add spite.’
‘None of us did (mess up),’ Shane replied.
