A Preston man has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving after crashing into parked cars in a Preston side street.
Footage shared with LancsLive shows the driver travelling down the road at high speed and crashing into a number of vehicles.
His injuries are not thought to be serious and nobody else was injured as a result of the incident.
The driver, who is 38-years-old, was arrested in the early hours of Saturday morning after crashing into parked vehicles close to the mini roundabout where St George’s Road meets Harewood Road in Deepdale.
After driving down the road at break-neck speed and crashing into a barked car, the driver’s car flipped a full 180 degrees and crashed into two more parked cars while going backwards
In the video, the car can be seen coming down the road at break-neck speed.
The driver appears to lose control, swerving into one parked car which causes the car car to do a ‘J-turn’, rotating 180 degrees.
The car then flies down the street backwards, bouncing from one side of the street to another and crashing into another two parked cars, doing considerable damage to them and pushing them a few meters from where they were parked.
After crashing into the two cars, the car rolls over, out of frame.
A few seconds later, as local residents can be seen looking out of their windows, a police car drives down the road, stopping short of where the crashed car has come to a stop.
Two police officers rush out of the car and run towards the vehicle, presumably to assist the driver.
Officers from Lancashire Police said they responded to the incident at around 5.20am. The arrested man has been taken to Royal Preston Hospital.
Miraculously, his injuries are not thought to be serious.
