Snapchat now lets you send musical GIFS to all your mates – here’s how to use them

FIRST INSTAGRAM gave you music stickers, now Snapchat is offering musical GIFs.

The new feature is available now on the app and lets users share the tuneful animated videos with mates on chat and via their own Stories.

It’s all thanks to a new partnership with GIF-sharing app TuneMoji thanks to Snapchat‘s new Snap Kit tool, which opens up its features to more platforms, according to Business Insider.

The update is simple to use, as long as you have the TuneMoji app downloaded.

If not, you’ll probably be confused when you fire up Snapchat and learn that you don’t have it.

To save you some time (and frustration) we’ve created this simple guide to the new feature.

Hit the Snapchat button in TuneMoji to be redirected to the app to share the GIF

How to share musical GIFs on Snapchat

Download the free TuneMoji app from the Apple App Store for iPhone or the Google Play Store for Android.

Select the GIF you’d like to share by scrolling through the categories or using the search bar at the top.

Then hold down your selection to expand it.

Now you’ll see a number of sharing options in the form of social network icons along the bottom.

Tap the Snapchat button, which will automatically open up the app and show you the GIF as a snap.

Now you can edit it the way you would other snaps and share it with your mates.

If you’re a Snapchat pro, you’ll want to read about its hidden app that works even better than the main platform.
