Sri Lanka rocked by another explosion as country reels from Easter suicide bombings that killed 359

A BLAST has rocked the Sri Lankan town of Pugoda today.

Police are investigating the cause of the explosion in vacant land behind a magistrates court in the town – which lies 25 miles east of the capital Colombo.

It comes at a time of high tension in Sri Lanka following the Easter Sunday suicide bomb attacks.

At least 359 people were killed and 500 wounded in a series of attacks on packed churches and busy hotels in Colombo.
