Stacey Solomon feels like ‘Supermum’ as she finally shaves her legs AND helps son Leighton read while in the bath

STACEY Solomon has admitted she finally feels like “Supermum” after managing to shave her legs while helping her son Leighton, seven, with his homework.

The mum-of-three had been counting her leg hairs to help conquer her anxiety since giving birth to Rex almost eight weeks ago.

But today she whipped out the razor and felt a lot better for doing some self care while also spending time with her older son.

“Feeling very pleased with myself for managing to shave my legs and help Leighton with his reading,” she shared on Instagram.

“Feeling much better today! Had more energy and felt so good to get out and do something fun with the boys earlier, I’ve been such a boring mummy for the past couple of months!

“I haven’t managed to make dinner or do housework, in fact nothing else has been done but I’m still feeling like a Supermum.

“Maybe I’m finally starting to get the hang of being a mum of three. Wow that feels weird to say! Hi I’m Stacey and I’m a mum of 3.”

Yesterday, Stacey admitted to feeling “mum guilt” during a “gut-wrenching” day at home.

She took to Instagram and told her followers that she had been trying to keep busy by organising her house.

However, she bravely confessed her feelings had left her with a “physical” pain in her tummy.

The couple welcomed their first child together in May

“I feel like I shouldn’t really have these feelings because I’m nearly eight weeks in and I am so incredibly lucky to have amazing children, a wonderful partner, loves loving, caring, and supportive family and I’m almost a bit embarrassed to say,” she said.

“That truth be told, I’m having a bit of a gut-wrenching day. One of those days that physically hurts your tummy. I have absolutely no idea why.

“Mum guilt has kicked in full swing. Nothing in particular triggers the feeling. It’s just there.

“Tried to keep busy and organise the hell out of the house which has helped for short moments (but also felt guilty about it).”

Stacey, who has been very frank about her emotions since giving birth to her third child, then told her fans that she would be making a “conscious effort” to accept any feelings that “come and go”.

Joe was slammed by fans for sharing this picture online

Earlier this week, her partner Joe Swash sparked criticism from fans after boasting about the “best night’s sleep in ages” after enjoying a long nap on a British Airways flight.

The TV presenter has flown to Tenerife for work and some followers felt it was mean towards Stacey, as she regularly speaks about how exhausted she is since having Rex.

This is Joe’s second work trip abroad since Rex’s birth at the end of May.

In June, Joe was whisked away on a Disney cruise for nine days, once again leaving Stacey at home with the baby and her older sons, Leighton, seven, and Zachary, 11.

Unfortunately, the cruise coincided with a major milestone – Rex’s first smile.

At the time, former EastEnders star Joe wrote on Instagram: “How is my luck. I had to go away for work and Rex has his first smile, gutted.”
