A London cab driver who witnessed the crash told how the car mounted the pavement and drove off.

Harry told the Mirror: ‘He was travelling westbound coming from Eaton Sq, as he approached Sloane Square he veered to the wrong side of the road and hit one man who looked like he was late 50s then another younger man who smashed his windscreen.

‘The car kept driving for a couple of metres with this man on the bonnet. After he fell to the ground car sped round the corner to Sloane Street.’
