SARA Cox and Michael Ball have been revealed as the new hosts of This Morning on Friday’s.
The pair will stand in for Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford when they are off.
During the summer holidays, Eamonn and Ruth, who normally work on the Friday show, take over from Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield full time.
And bosses have decided to give Sara and Michael a whirl to see how they get on in front of the cameras.
One TV insider told The Mirror: “With Eamonn and Ruth covering Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby’s Monday to Thursday role, it leaves their usual Friday hosting slot open for others to try their hand.
“Bosses have high hopes. If it goes well, definitely watch this space.”
This Morning editor, Martin Frizell, added: “The summer months have always been a key time to try out new items and talent, and I wanted to have a mixture of different presenters this year doing the Fridays to keep it fresh and exciting for the viewers.
“They are ultimately who we aim to please and it’s always good to play with ideas.
“Eamonn and Ruth also have plans to attend a family wedding during the summer too, so there will be more exciting opportunities for presenters and viewers.”
As well as Michael and Sara, Emma Willis and Rylan Clark have previously presented the show.

And last Friday Dr Ranj Singh and Vanessa Feltz had the honour of fronting the hit ITV daytime programme.
Holly and Phil are currently soaking up the sunshine on holiday with their families and will return to the show in August.
Fans have been enjoying the mix up in the talent and found Vanessa’s stint on the show hilarious after she appeared to swear live on air.
