THOMAS Markle is preparing for Christmas alone without healing the rift with daughter Meghan.
He has not spoke with the Duchess since before her royal wedding to Prince Harry in May.
Thomas, 74, was tonight preparing to see in the festive season without her at his home in Rosarito, Mexico.
The Duchess has been slammed by her family, and even dubbed a “Grinch” by her half-sister Samantha.
Now she is 5,500 miles from her estranged dad, and he has given a number of interviews with British media, pleading for his pregnant daughter to contact him and saying he had been texting her everyday.
The Queen is believed to be unhappy with the drama surrounding their rift.
It comes as the Queen is expected to stress healing “even with the most deeply held differences” in this year’s Christmas message.
In her festive speech, the monarch is expected to say: “I believe (Jesus’) message of peace on Earth and goodwill to all is never out of date.
“It can be heeded by everyone. It’s needed as much as ever.
“Even with the most deeply held difference, treating the other person with respect and as a fellow human being is always a good first step towards greater understanding.”
Thomas, a retired Hollywood lighting director told Good Morning Britain he would appreciate anything the Queen could do to help him reconnect with pregnant Meghan, who is due her first baby with Prince Harry in the Spring.

Courtiers are reported to be “deeply concerned” about Thomas’s vow to carry on making public statements in a bid to reconnect with his daughter.
Only joke gifts are allowed at the Royal party.
Prince Harry, 34, famously gave his grandma a shower cap with ‘Ain’t Life A B****’ written on it in 2013.
And Kate Middleton, 36, previously gave her brother-in-law a ‘grow your own girlfriend’ kit.
