TikTok user films neighbour’s supercar that has been left to go MOULDY on London street

A TikTok user was left horrified and called her London neighbours ‘out of touch’ after she noticed mould in a supercar.

Eliza, who is a Canadian living in London, shared a video earlier this month showing mould growing on the hand brake and gearstick of the Porsche.

She spotted the car in St John’s Wood, Westminster, said: ‘So I live in a pretty nice area in London and I’m very fortunate to do so.

‘But it’s just insane how out of touch some of my neighbours are.’

Eliza turns the camera around to focus on the Porsche, explaining that she doesn’t know what the make or model of the car is.

She continued: ‘I’m walking by. There is f***ing mould in it, like the car is moulding. Do you see that?

‘I literally get stressed out if I get mould on my lemons let alone a £100,000 car.’

Eliza zooms in her iPhone camera through the window, showing mould growing near the window as well as on the seats, hand brake and gearstick.

Other social media users in the comments pointed out that the owner might be dead or ‘abroad and stuck there’ due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

One said: ‘It’s bc they have a soft top in a place that rains constantly like the water seeps in – the owners probably out of country or dead lol.’

Another user explained: ‘Happens with convertibles that have been left for a month or two. It’s because it’s not airtight and there’s moisture getting in.’

A second continued: ‘This can literally happen over night or even a few days.’

One user said: ‘We Brits have a saying “The rich can afford to be careless”‘

Another added: ‘The differences in wealth across London really is something.’
