One of TikTok’s most buzzed-about videos of the moment shows a young man chopping a banana.

The inexplicably popular clip has already been viewed more than two millions times, and dozens of women have left drooling comments — and even recorded smiling reaction videos.

All this fanfare is in response to a simple 28-second recording of Los Angeles-based musician Arthur Fabbro peeling a banana in his kitchen and quickly chopping it into pieces with a spoon.

‘I’m gonna show you how I slice up my bananas for oats, or cereal, or whatever you like,’ he says.

He reaches for a banana, removing most of the peel. He explains that he keeps a third of the peel on, pointing to demonstrate.

Arthur then holds the banana over a bowl and uses a spoon to quickly chop the banana in pieces, treating the extra banana peel as a makeshift cutting board to stop the spoon.
