CHELSEA are signing veteran goalkeeper Robert Green in a shock free transfer.

The former England international is heading to Stamford Bridge to join as cover after a year spent on the Huddersfield Town bench.

Green was considering hanging up his gloves after being released by the Terriers and taking up a new career.

However, the Chelsea call is too good to refuse for the 38-year-old.

LEON BAILEY has put Arsenal and Chelsea on red alert as he looks to push through a move to the Prem this summer.

The Bayer Leverkusen star is keen to complete the switch away from the Bundesliga before the transfer window shuts in England on August 9.

And the player’s representatives will look to begin talks with potential suitors next week.

Bailey, 20, is currently under contract until 2022 – but Leverkusen would struggle to turn down a bid of £35m-£40m for one of their prized assets.

MANCHESTER UNITED have set their sights on Eintracht Frankfurt winger Ante Rebic, according to reports.

The Croatian World Cup star is seen as a viable alternative to Willian as a deal with Chelsea looks unlikely.

United boss Jose Mourinho is desperate to land a wide player that fits into his 4-3-3 system.

Rebic’s fellow countryman Ivan Perisic was the one Mourinho wanted, but his outstanding displays in Russia have seen his valuation soar.

BARCELONA have pulled off a late move to hijack Malcom’s £36.5million move to Roma.

The highly-rated winger looked to be heading to Serie A after Roma announced they had agreed a fee with Bordeaux to seal the transfer.

However, Roma are preparing to take legal action against Malcom after the Brazilian snubbed a move to Italy at the last moment.

Malcom has signed a five-year contract at the La Liga giants.

EVERTON have completed the £50million signing of Watford star Richarlison on a five-year deal.

It means the Brazilian is reunited with former Hornets boss Marco Silva at Goodison Park.

He also becomes the Toffees’ first signing of the summer after they missed out on Bordeaux winger Malcom.

Speaking to the club’s official website, Richarlison admitted the chance to work with Silva again was too good to turn down.
