President Donald Trump eyed Russian President Vladimir Putin and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman as he joined world leaders for their ‘family’ photo at the G20 summit here but didn’t talk with his fellow leaders.
Trump cancelled his meeting with Putin here and said he’d be willing to talk with the prince if it was on his schedule – yet he didn’t make conversation with either man as he walked past them to get in place for a photo.
The ‘family photo’ – the time when all the G20 leaders gather on stage for a group picture – featured all the leaders on stage together in the Costa Salguero Centre.

Before the family photo, each leader came out one by one to shake hands with Argentina President Mauricio Macri – the host leader – and get a photo with him.
Then they all returned to the stage for the group picture.
After the ‘family’ photo, the leaders moved into a separate room for lunch, where they all sat around a round table, each of them with screens and microphones in front of them.
Flags lined the wall in the back and desks were set up behind the leaders for other top officials. Secretary of State Pompeo sat behind the president.
