Trump’s Covid adviser Dr Scott Atlas RESIGNS and says he wishes ‘the new’ Biden administration well in fighting pandemic

PRESIDENT Trump’s special adviser on the coronavirus pandemic, Dr. Scott Atlas, has reportedly resigned from his position on Monday.

According to Fox News, Atlas formally resigned from the administration, which he joined in August as a Special Government Employee (SGE), serving a 130-day detail.

Atlas’ resignation letter, dated December 1, was obtained by Fox, and reportedly touted the administration’s efforts in tackling the coronavirus pandemic.

The letter reportedly said: “I am writing to resign from my position as Special Advisor to the President of the United States.”

He added, “I worked hard with a singular focus—to save lives and help Americans through this pandemic,” and that he “always relied on the latest science and evidence, without any political consideration or influence.”
