Two Brits killed and another left in critical condition after car crash in Crete

TWO Brits have been killed and another left in a critical condition after they were involved in a car crash in Crete yesterday.

Four Brits were in a rented Jeep when they crashed into a parked motorbike on party island Malia, according to a local newspaper.

The head of EKAV’s ambulance service in Crete said a male and a female passenger died instantly while a third woman was transferred to PAGNI hospital’s intensive care unit.

Three of the four passengers are thought to not have been wearing a seat belt according to local reports.

An 18-year-old, who is believed to have been wearing a belt, survived the accident with no serious injuries.

FCO Spokesperson said: “We are supporting the families of three British people involved in a car accident in Crete, and are in contact with local authorities.”
