UFC schedule 2020: Fight card for upcoming UFC 250 and Fight Night 176 dates in May and June

UFC is back up and running after three successful shows in Florida.

Tony Ferguson was taken to hospital after his defeat by Justin Gaethje at UFC 249, but received messages of support from the man he would have faced if coronavirus never happened – Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Just a few days later Anthony Smith suffered a broken eye-socket and had two teeth knocked out during his one-sided beating against UFC veteran Glover Teixeira.

While Alistair Overeem toppled Walt Harris in a huge heavyweight showdown in the last of the three shows.

UFC upcoming schedule for 2020

  • May 30 – UFC Fight Night 176 – Woodley vs Burns (welterweight)
  • June 6 – UFC 250 – Nunes vs Spencer (UFC Women’s Featherweight Championship bout)

UFC held  three fight cards in the space of eight days, with ALL of the shows taking place from the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville without any audience.

The state of Florida had stated that “professional sports and media production with a national audience” are essential services during the pandemic.

Next up for the UFC is a Fight Night card on May 30, and boss Dana White says the show – which features Tyron Woodley in the main event – will go ahead despite the chance UFC will not be able to use their UFC Apex base in Las Vegas.

White said: “I don’t know yet, but that’s what we’re working on. That’s what we’re hoping for.

“We’re rolling now. If we can’t get May 30 at the Apex, it’s gonna be super disappointing, but we will go somewhere else.”

It was during UFC 249 earlier in the month when the date for UFC 250 was also announced – June 6 with Amanda Nunes vs Felicia Spencer in the main event.

UFC are expected to launch their Fight Island which will host shows from June – with an Octagon on the BEACH.

It is not yet known whether UFC 250 will take place from the Fight Island.

For UK viewers the UFC shows will be live on BT Sport, and in the US on ESPN/ ESPN +.
