A 700-MILE wide African heat bulge is continuing to give Britain mild weather for November.
Meteorologists have described the unusually balmy temperatures as an Autumnal ‘Indian Summer’.
Temperatures could continue to hit 18C today, which will make the UK warmer than the south of France.
But enjoy the milder weather while it lasts – as the “heat bulge” will make way for 65mph gale-force winds later in the week.
The Met Office forecasts “particularly mild” conditions lasting past mid-November. But plunging temperatures and snow are due from late this month.
