ROCK and roll legend Jerry Lee Lewis has suffered a stroke, according to a family statement.
The 83-year-old is said to be recovering at home in Memphis, US, after suffering a minor stroke on Wednesday.

The singer first shot to fame in 1950s and is best known for his hit Great Balls of Fire.
His family asked for fans’ prayers in a statement.
A family statement said: “Last night, Jerry Lee Lewis suffered a minor stroke.
“He is with his family, recuperating in Memphis and the doctors expect a full recovery.
“The Killer looks forward to getting back into the studio soon to record a Gospel record and on the road performing live for his fans.
“His family requests privacy at this time. Well wishes and prayers are greatly appreciated.”
