Victoria Beckham shares snap of her avocado and toast with ingredients straight out of the bible

Victoria Beckham proved she’s posh my name and posh by nature on Wednesday after revealing she spends almost £6 on bread for her simple avocado and toast breakfast.

Taking to Instagram, the former Spice Girl, 45, shared a snap of the healthy breakfast staple made with wholegrain Ezekiel 4:9 bread – and admitted her children love it.

However fans hoping to replicate the simple breakfast will have to spend a little more on their humble loaf, with the bread retailing at a rather costly £5.95.

The loaf, made from sprouted grains, is only available from Amazon’s grocery store and takes its name from the Hebrew prophet, a central protagonist in the Book of Ezekiel.

A passage from the Bible’s Ezekiel 4:9 reads: ‘Take also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentils and millet, and spelt and put them in one vessel.’

With the bread only available online, anyone looking to splash out will also have to spend an unholy £2.99 in delivery charges.

The extortionate price is understood to be based on its inflated labour costs, caused by its use of sprouted grains and pulses.

While it retails at a significantly higher price than the standard loaf, Ezekiel has a series of nutritional benefits, including an increase in vitamins B1, B2, and vitamin E.
