GREAT BRITAIN are back in Davis Cup action this weekend as they aim to secure their place in the top tier for next year’s competition.
Leon Smith’s side were knocked out of 2018 tournament by Spain and failure to beat Uzbekistan could see them fall into the Europe/Africa zone for the first time since 2013.
When will the matches be played?
The Davis Cup will take place between September 14 and September 16.
It will be held at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow.
It will be played as follows:
Friday – Dan Evans vs Denis Istomin, Cameron Norrie v Jurabek Karimov
Saturday – doubles, with play set to start at 2pm
Sunday – two singles games with play set to start at 12noon

Leon Smith will be without Andy Murray for the important tie as he continues to recover from his hip injury.
Kyle Edmund is also missing from the squad, due to tonsillitis.
Uzbekistan have only Denis Istomin (83) ranked in the world’s top 300.
Dan Evans is back in the squad following his 12-month ban and joins Cameron Norrie, Jay Clarke for the singles matches whilst Jamie Murray and Dominic Inglot are the doubles team.
