Weather forecast UK – Bank Holiday weekend kicks off with fog and cloud before Brits bask in sunny 25C

BANK Holiday weekend kicks off today with “a cloudy and damp start for some on Saturday morning,” says the Met Office.

Early risers will see fog along some North Sea coasts first thing.

“The best of the sunshine will be across Scotland and parts of the east of England,” the agency adds.

However, Brits will see a sunny, warm Bank Holiday weekend with temperatures expected to soar to 25C on Monday.

Sunday looks fine and warm with temperatures up a notch, reports Netweather TV.

The website says that the mercury is likely to hit “the 20s, with west London, Bristol, North Wales towards greater Manchester and Moray all hotting up”.

London and central parts of England could get as high as 25C (73F) – the warmest since the end of March during the Bank Holiday weekend – as showers finally make way for glorious sunshine.
