Weather forecast UK – Yellow warnings for most of Britain as snow and -10C big chill predicted for Sunday

BRITAIN is set to be blasted with snow and -10C temperatures as yellow warnings are issued for most of the country this weekend.

The Met Office has warned wintry conditions could cause mass travel chaos as forecasts predict an 80 percent chance of snow on Sunday.

Temperatures could drop as low as -10C in Scotland and -7 in parts of northern England.

For today, the Met Office have issued yellow warnings for the East Midlands, East of England, South East, North East and North West of England and have warned of travel disruption.

This comes as Londoners are at risk of flooding this weekend after heavy rainfall during Storm Christoph.

There are currently 15 flood alerts in the capital meaning locals are advised to be prepared as flooding is possible.

The flood threat comes as a ‘wall of snow’ was due to hit the UK this weekend.
