BRITAIN will see four days of sub-zero temperatures as a 500-mile wide ‘Scandinavian surge’ sweeps the country from tonight.
Temperatures could drop as low as -10C in Scotland, marking the coldest Spring temperature since the Beast from the East in March 2018.
Snow flurries are forecast for Scotland, with ice risks and widespread frosts including in the South.
The coldest temperatures will be seen in Scotland, northern England and the west of the UK as the mercury is set to drop to lows of -3C.
The rest of the country isn’t expected to see temperatures go above freezing, apart from in the capital where 2C is forecast.
