What is Ligma and where did it come from?

Ligma first appeared as part of a death hoax for popular Fortnite Streamer Ninja.

A hoax death image was posted to Instagram, this was later reshared saying that he had passed away from Ligma.

CBS News in the USA reported that he had passed away from the “new and rare” disease known as Ligma.

When people asked what Ligma actually was they were hit with a ‘witty’ reply – ‘Ligma b*lls’.

Ninja had a little more fun with his response to PewDiePie:

Who is Ninja?

Ninja is one of the highest-paid personalities among Twitch streamers, YouTubers, and e-sports players.

Tyler Blevins, 26, of Grayslake, Illinois, became a streamer in 2011 first with Justin.tv, then moved to Twitch.tv.

Blevins joined Luminosity Gaming in 2017 first as a Halo player, then H1Z1, later moving to PUBG, where he won the PUBG Gamescom Invitational in the 3rd Person Squads classification.

He began streaming Fortnite regularly and his number of viewers began to expand along with the game’s growth in popularity.
