FORMULA ONE returns to Hockenheim for the first time since 2016.

Lewis Hamilton won the last time the race was held here, but had to settle for second-place at Silverstone last week as Sebastian Vettel took the chequered flag and an eight-point Championship lead.

When is the German Grand Prix?

AS usual, there are three practice sessions before qualifying gets going.

The first gets going TODAY at 10am UK time, before the second follows this afternoon at 2pm.

Third practice begins at 11am on TOMORROW, July 21 before qualifying starts at 2pm.

The 2018 German Grand Prix will be held on Sunday, July 22, with the race getting underway at 2.10pm UK time.

Which channel can I watch it on?

YOU can watch all the action unfold on the Sky Sports F1 channel.

This year’s German Grand Prix is not being shown by Channel 4, who have the rights for ten races this season.

Every practice session and qualifying will be covered by Sky, with coverage starting 1 hour before the drivers pull out the pits.

And coverage of the race itself will begin at 12.30pm on Sunday.
