What is the show with Jason Manford about?
Jason Manford hosts the series which takes the best bits of The Secret Life Of 5 Year Olds – where the kids’ honesty is tested with things such as chocolate cake they’re asked not to eat – and turns it into a game show, as parents predict how their children will behave.
Each episode sees the kids being filmed unaware at school with hidden cameras.
The oblivious children think they’re just taking part in fun activities and games when really they are being tested on everything from their obedience, curiosity and empathy to their ability to solve problems.
Back in the studio Jason asks the parents how they reckon their pride and joy will have responded in that situation.
And it’s Jason’s interactions with the children – think Kids Say The Funniest Things – that really make the show.
