I’M A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! is back on our screens on NOVEMBER 17 and fans can’t wait to see the new batch of celebrities fighting the elements in the Aussie jungle.
Here’s everything we know about the upcoming series so far…
When does I’m A Celebrity start?
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! will return on Sunday, November 17.
The show, which is one of the channel’s most popular productions and always brings in millions of viewers usually runs for three weeks.
If it follows the previous format and length fans can expect this year’s jungle king or queen to be crowned around mid-December.
Are Ant and Dec hosting I’m a Celebrity?
Yes, they are! The dynamic duo will be heading back to the jungle together after Ant missed the 2018 show.
In July 2019 the pair shared a photo of themselves looking like they lived in the Aussie outback to show that they are back together on I’m A Celeb.
Which celebrities are taking part in I’m a Celebrity?
The Sun exclusively revealed Caitlyn Jenner will be flying to Australia to take part in this year’s I’m A Celeb.
ITV bosses have reportedly forked out more for Caitlyn, the world’s most famous transgender woman, than anyone else this year — topping £500,000.
England and Arsenal legend Ian Wright is entering the jungle, with last year’s I’m a Celebrity winner Harry Redknapp letting the secret slip during a guest appearance at the Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham.
The former football manager revealed Ian was reportedly being paid £1m for taking part.
The singer, who shot to fame in the girl group Girls Aloud, has signed to appear on I’m a Celebrity.
The long-standing Coronation Street actor, who plays Kirk Sutherland in the ITV soap, is set to enter the jungle.
A source said: “[ITV producters] were chuffed to get Andrew as viewers have watched him on Coronation Street for the best part of two decades, yet know nothing about him away from Kirk.”
An insider said: “As ever, line-ups aren’t locked in until closer the time but it is looking more than likely she will be heading Down Under.”
The Sun exclusively revealed the Good Morning Britain presenter would be starring in this year’s I’m A Celeb.
The 52-year-old has committed to the ITV series, which begins in November, and has booked the time off work.
The sports star has recently made the move into professional mixed martial arts and is currently signed to Bellator MMA, competing in the Heavyweight division.
The son of former EastEnders actor Martin Kemp currently hosts a breakfast show on Capital FM between 6am-10am Monday to Friday.
The show made the star an instant heart-throb alongside Jamaal Shurland, Ashley Fongho and Mustafa Rahimtulla.
Where is I’m a Celebrity filmed?
The series is set in Murwillumbah in New South Wales, Australia and is filmed inside Springbrook National Park.
I’m a Celebrity has been shot there since the second series in 2003 but was previously filmed in Cairns, Queensland.
However, the programme could potentially move from the UNESCO heritage site when the current I’m a Celeb contract expires in 2020.
The Sun reported that producers are discussing moving the show to Kangaroo Island in the future.
Aerial footage from the I’m a Celeb 2019 set has revealed a wooden saloon and hot tub, which might be used to reward winning teams.
Other features include the infamous Celebrity Cyclone slide and a black pond, which will likely be incorporated in the trials.
Will Holly Willoughby be returning to I’m a Celebrity this year?
Holly Willoughby replaced Ant in 2018 but made it clear she was only standing-in on a temporary basis.
At the Pride of Britain Awards on Monday, November 28, the This Morning host admitted she was “looking forward” to watching the show from afar.
Speaking to The Mirror she said: “I’m such a fan of the show so just to sit back and watch it will be great.”
