When is Robin Lord Taylor joining Netflix’s You?
Robin Lord Taylor will be joining Netflix’s You for its second series which is expected to come to our screens later in Autumn 2019.
The actor will play lead character Joe Goldberg’s nemesis in the extremely popular show.
He’ll take on the role of Will who will clash with Penn Badgley’s controversial character Joe.
Deadline reported that the new character “deals with unsavoury sorts as part of his job, but is himself a thoughtful, personable, and highly intelligent guy who marches to the beat of his own drum”.
However, after meeting Joe he will end up “trapped in a bad situation”, with the second season set to move from New York City to Los Angeles.
You was initially based on Caroline Kepnes’ novel of the same name, and the new episodes will be loosely based on the storyline of the book’s sequel, Hidden Bodies.
In Hidden Bodies, stalker killer Joe jets off to start a new life for himself in Hollywood, California, as he attempts to leave the horror of what happened with Beck behind him.
In his new home, the character will fall in love with Love Quinn, who is played by The Haunting Of Hill House’s Victoria Pedretti.
Desperate to give his new relationship a chance, in spite of Love’s overbearing brother Forty, Joe becomes haunted by the cup of wee that he left at the scene of Peach Salinger’s murder and fears that his past crimes will start to catch up with him.
