Who is Jemima Rooper and what is her background?
Jemima was born in Hammersmith, London to TV journalist Alison Rooper.
When she was 9, she said she wanted to be an actress and got in touch with an agent, leading to her appearing in films during the 90s.
She passed eight GCSEs with A* and A grades while working on The Famous Five, and bought her first home aged 19.

British TV viewers will recognise Jemima Rooper from BBC fantasy series Atlantic, supernatural drama Hex and an adaptation of The Famous Five which aired on CITV in the 90s.
She has also been in musical film Kinky Boots and The Black Dahlia.
