Who is Nyema Kalfon?
Nyema Kalfon is a 22 year-old singer from Winchester, who works in a call centre.
The aspiring singer records covers of hits such as Toxic by Britney Spears and Ain’t No Sunshine on her Facebook and Instagram.
Nyema has experience performing live at open mic nights – fingers crossed this stands her in good stead in her audition.
What did Nyema sing in her blind audition?
The contestant sang Answerphone by Banx & Ranx and Ella Eyre.
will.i.am turned his chair instantly.
At the end of her performance, Tom Jones turned around too.
Nyema chose will.i.am as her coach and goes through to the next stage.
When is The Voice on ITV?
The Voice 2019 started on Saturday, January 5 and continues TONIGHT at 8pm on ITV.
The format of the show is that contestants take part in blind auditions and the judges spin round in their chairs if they want to mentor them.
The show is hosted by Emma Willis.
This year for the first time trios are allowed to audition as well as soloist and duets.
