William Goldman dead at 87 – Oscar-winning screenwriter created All The President’s Men passes away surrounded by family

OSCAR-winning screenwriter William Goldman who wrote ‘All the President’s Men’ and ‘Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid’ has died aged 87.

The Hollywood legend died at his home in Manhattan on earlier today due to complications from colon cancer and pneumonia, his daughter Jenny Goldman confirmed.

His health had been failing for some time, and over the summer his condition deteriorated.
